Astrology , also known as the "Science of Light”, refers to the study of the positions and aspects of the stars in the sky. It is believed that the stars have an influence on the course of human affairs, and on other natural, earthly occurrences. Someone who practices the art of astrology is referred to as an astrologer, or, less often, an astrologist.
