Art Therapy

Art Therapy is a type of therapy that, by combining traditional psychotherapeutic techniques, uses the media of arts (sculpture, painting, collage, etc.) to provide expression and the therapeutic release of emotions/feelings that could not otherwise be expressed. It is an opportunity to confront inner perceptions of the self through the use of symbols, lines, pictures, etc.
